Interesting links again today. It’s probably past time to categorise the political leaning of some of the journalists being submitted here too. So much of the journalism here is so blatantly biased it is arguably (I’ll argue) verging on misinformation. Surely, integrity should be part of journalism. Seriously, they’ve hit a new low. Maybe send this link around: https://www.ifj.org/who/rules-and-policy/global-charter-of-ethics-for-journalists
Chris Trotter is correct that international recognition of Palestinian statehood is no panacea.
Nevertheless, New Zealand must join in recognising Palestinian statehood ... as a necessary step towards the dissolution of Zionazi apartheid Israel and the establishment of a non-racial democratic state in all Palestine, the land between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea; a state in which all have equal rights regardless of language, culture, religion, or purported ethnicity, as we have in New Zealand.
