The Auditor-General’s decision yesterday to investigate ministerial conflicts of interest, particularly in relation to the Government’s Fast Track Act, represents a critical step in scrutinising how governmental processes handle potential ethical risks.
Thank goodness something is being done. Many of the projects are entirely contentious and the lobbyists given free rein!
