Integrity Measurement Investigations
Summary
Research and polling on perceptions of integrity in politics, including public trust, elite self-assessments, and annual benchmarking reports.
Purpose and activity
These research outputs focus on measuring and evaluating integrity in New Zealand – including surveying former MPs and the public.
Scheduled investigations:
Survey of former MPs: We will be surveying former parliamentarians on their experiences of the political process, especially in terms of vested interests
Trust survey: We will commission an annual public survey on trust in political institutions and authority
Occasional polling reports: We will commission occasional public polling on specific issues that relate to the political process and vested interests
An Annual Integrity Report: Every January we will publish a report on the previous year in terms of public and political integrity
The Lead Researcher on the Integrity Measurement Investigations is Bruce Curtis
